Duration: Typically 12 weeks, with flexible evening scheduling to accommodate school and family commitments
Group Frequency: 2 days per week, 3 hours per session
Group Size: Small, supportive groups to ensure individualized attention and peer connection

Turning Point’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Teen Mental Health Treatment Program in Colorado
Turning Point’s Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for youth and teens ages 13-17 with substance use and mental health (dual diagnosis) treatment needs. The IOP is a 12-week program, with 6 hours of in-person weekly groups and therapy occurring after school.
Individual Therapy for Teens:
Therapy that matches the needs of each teenager. It may be focused on overcoming the impact of trauma, or the youth may be matched with a specialist who works specifically with substance use issues.

Group Therapy for Teens:
Therapy that may be focused on building coping skills; recognizing and understanding symptoms; improving the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions (emotional intelligence); improving resiliency; preventing relapse; and other trauma or substance-use-related topics.
