Turning Point's Connections Program is Accepting Referrals

Turning Point is excited to announce that we have secured funding for the Connections Program, 2024-2025. And we could use your help to spread the word!

Turning Point's Connections Program offers comprehensive community-based preventative behavioral health and substance use disorder prevention education and support services. Thanks to the generous support of grant funders, these services are offered at no cost to our clients, providing much-needed relief and support to our community. Through funding partnerships, we can tailor the programming to meet the needs of identified populations.

We are currently accepting referrals for behavior coaching services for low-income Fort Collins Youth (City of Fort Collins funding) and Larimer or Weld County Youth (Ent Community Advocacy fund). Referrals can be made directly through our website.

Behavior coaching is a skill-based mentoring service that supports youth by identifying individualized opportunities for growth, self-sufficiency, and support in preserving placement in their homes and schools. These services focus on skills training by helping youth develop life, coping, and interpersonal skills.  We work with youth of all ages, from 3-18.

"Being able to provide no-cost coaching services to families who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford it helps decrease barriers in accessing care. The youth we work with are progressing throughout this three-month program. They are learning new positive ways to cope with life's stressors and getting past barriers impacting success in school and at home," shared Farai Makombe, Outpatient Coordinator.

Funding is available until it runs out! We deeply thank the City of Fort Collins and Ent Community Advocacy Fund for their support. This program is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together as a community!
