Community Transition Program
Turning Point's Community Transition Program encompasses multiple levels of programming specifically for Youthful Offender System (YOS) Phase III offenders. Turning Point's Community Transition Program is designed to assist in the successful reintegration into the community of youth placed in the Colorado Department of Corrections Youthful Offender System.
Youth enter the the program directly from YOS Phase II. Our program provides youthful offenders with a well-planned transition into the community while providing intense supervision, employment training, education and treatment support, opportunities for community services and positive recreational and social activities.
The program is designed to transition youthful offenders from incarceration to the community in a positive, supportive and therapeutic setting. The goals of the program are to address a wide range of reintegration associated problems, to decrease the degree of impairment, to support skill development, and to restore productive functioning.
